The 35th New York Salsa Festival featuring Willie Colón, Victor Manuelle, Jerry Rivera, India, Grupo Niche, Eddie Santiago, Tito Rojas, Lalo Rodríguez, José Alberto El Canario, Fruko y sus Tesos, and Angel Lopez de Son by Four in their returns to Barclays Center.
BIO: “The son of the Bronx” will gift us his talent with his classics and greatest hits: “Idilio”, “Gitana”, “Oh Que Sera”, El Gran Varon,” “Sin Poderte Hablar”, “Canto a Borinquen” “La Murga”, “Traigo La Salsa”, “Arbolito” and much more… This wonderful trombonist, singer, composer, producer, actor, director and community leader, Willie Colón has over 50 years of career, he has recorded 40 albums and sold more than 30 million records worldwide, including fifteen gold and five platinum records and eleven GRAMMY nominations.
BIO: the multiplatinum selling salsa and Latin Grammy winner, Jerry Rivera, “el niño de la salsa” as he was popularly known for a long time will be delighting the attendees with themes, such as: “Casi un Hechizo”, “Amores como el Nuestro”, “Ese” and his most recent feat with the venezuelan singer Jonathan Molly “Sayonara”. Jerry Rivera has been one of the hottest young guns of romantic salsa since 90s and he has more over 18 albums recorded.
