Tony Vega successfully recovers from a heart operation he underwent in a hospital in Atlanta.
Although “very sore”, the salsa player has a positive state of health.
The interpreter of “Apparently” and “That Woman” underwent surgery on May 11 at 8:30 at night in the Atlanta Hospital, United States, after presenting severe chest pain.
His family released details in a press release:
“Today, on May 12, 2020, at 8:35 am, the medical personnel who are attending him told us that, thank God, after a long night, the task of the surgery was achieved and our dear Tony, although He is very sore, he is responding well to the operation, ”states the Vega family statement.
“The process is not yet over. The road is long ahead but at this moment we give glory to God for having granted our request and yours, and for using the doctors and nurses who have attended him to continue with us ”.
The family expressed their appreciation for the good wishes and prayers for the recovery of the interpreter. “Our desire is to be able, at least, to talk to him at some point and see him even if it is by cell phone.”
From International Salsa Magazine we wish you a speedy recovery Tony!
