Every Saturday during the Summer, and specifically this June 23rd, Latino Professionals invites you to Latino Sounds. In this opportunity we will have the presentation of Dayren Santamaria & Made in Cuba, in the beautiful place of the Hancock Park at Los Angeles County Museum of Art from 3pm to 7pm. So don’t miss the chance of have a good session of tropical dance.
Dayren Santamaria is a Cuban violinist who is charting her own path with her All-Star Afro-Cuban Jazz band. She has worked extensively with latin jazz ensemble Mongorama and appears on their Grammy-nominated 2012 CD. She has also performed in L.A. with a variety of groups including performances with actor/musician/producer Andy Garcia, a fellow Cuban emigree.
The violinist has a series of compositions that go from Cha-cha-cha, Latin Jazz, Salsa to Pachanga, with the best piano accompaniments that can be heard in contemporary music. And each piece is characterized by the expressiveness that each violin compass has. Unquestionably this is one of the best opportunities to see a quality show in one of the most beautiful spaces in Los Angeles.
Bring your chairs, snacks, drinks, wine, food, fruits and whatever you want for your picnic to enjoy with your family. This is a luxury opportunity to surprise everyone with your best dance steps. The crew of Latino Professional is pleased to welcome all people who care about the Latino community. And invite you all to come together to discover, connect, share and learn about culture and ways of living.
