Marc Anthony continues routing the United States as part of his “Legacy” tour, which will take him through six of the main cities in the country with the largest number of Latin residents: San Antonio, McAllen, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and finally the capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan, where he will close his tour on December 14th.
The singer of Puerto Rican origin, known as “El Rey de la Salsa”, will show off his extraordinary vocal quality and his lyrics opening the concert with the single from his self-titled album “Valió la pena”, furthermore going on with the interpretation of his hits of the nineties of the most emblematic albums: “Todo a su Tiempo” and “Contra la Corriente”, continuing with their most recent singles, published on the CDs: “Íconos” and “3.0”.
Marco Antonio Muñiz (artist’s real name) carries out this “Legacy Tour” for the United States, South America and Central America, in addition to the Caribbean and Europe thanks to the multi-million dollar contract signed for a figure of 160 million dollars, being the largest financial compensation for an international tour of a Latin music artist this year.
The Marc Anthony Seal translates into more than 12 million albums sold around the world, ten Billboard Latin Awards, five Latin Grammys and one Grammy, as well as Latin Recording Academy´s recognition as Person of the Year in 2016.
Since 2013, Marc has made several collaborations with artists of international fame such as: Alejandro Sanz (“Deja que te bese”), Gente de Zona (“La Gozadera” y “Traidora”), Maluma (“Felices los 4”), besides Juan Gabriel and Jennifer López.
His most recent single “Está Rico” in collaboration with Will Smith and Bad Bunny is a more urban rhythm than Salsa. However, do you think that “El Rey de la Salsa” together with “El Rey del Trap” and “El Principe del Rap” will give us a surprise in a full house concert?
