Luisito Carrion:

Luisito Carrión from Arecibo – Puerto Rico has been singing since age 13. He began his career as a salsa singer with Orquesta Kafe, Orquesta La Nativa and Grupo Concepto Latino. He has shared stage with Celia Cruz, Adalberto Santiago and Santitos Colón. Later he joined to the Bobby Valentín Orchestra where he sang the biggest hits: “El Agua”, “El Señor de las señoras”, “Ramos de flores”, “El Gigolo”, “Tributo de Cali”, and “Como lo hago yo”. In 1997 he recorded with Roberto Roena y Su Apollo Sound, “Mi música”. In the late 90’s Carrión starts his career as a soloist  making hits such as: “Sin tu amor”, “La chica más popular”, “Nadie como tú”, “Por qué”, “Amiga Mia”, “Muriendo”, “Como ave sin rumbo” and “Para ser Real”. Carrion has recorded 3 albums: “Ahora voy yo” (1992), “Con respeto” (1995) and “Sin tu amor” (2000). Nowadays, Luisito Carrión is regarded as one of Puerto Rico’s top soneros.
