Scullers Jazz Club has been recognized by major important sectors (Boston Magazine, Citysearch.com, CBS 4 Boston, AOL City Guide, Downbeat Magazine, and The Improper Bostonian) – for years – as one of the best establishments to enjoy Jazz in the Boston city.
This venue opened in 1989 has been dedicated to creating a classic atmosphere concerning the greatest Jazz clubs of decades ago, with excellent acoustics and sightlines from every seat that has made it an excellent Latin Jazz place in the capital of Massachusetts.
Magnificent avant-garde shows are presented every year at Scullers Jazz Club, setting a new standard for Jazz clubs in the area. Famous international artists such as Tony Bennett, Lou Rawls, Bobby Short, Christian McBride, Harry Connick Jr., and Wynton Marsalis, just to name a few, have performed on the stage of this important Jazz club.
In the same way, many of the brightest contemporary Jazz stars of nowadays have also stepped on this space; we refer to Diana Krall, Norah Jones and, more recently, Michael Bublé, among others.
And we can’t forget that Scullers Jazz Club has been a champion in supporting the Latin music scene by presenting great Latin Jazz legends such as Arturo Sandoval, Orquesta Aragón and piano legend, Eddie Palmieri for a perfectly pleasant night and why not a Jazz retreat!

He is one of the world’s foremost guardians of jazz trumpet, as well as a renowned classical artist, pianist, and composer. He has been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, is a 10-time Grammy Award winner, won the 2015 Hispanic Heritage Award, and received a 2016 Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from The University of Notre Dame.
