In 1976 he started as Roberto Roena’s Band Boy and his Sound Support
A boy who was born in New York and grew up in Puerto Rico and was initiated by music from an early age.
He began to see the Orchestras in the Island of Enchantment in 1976 as Roberto Roena’s Band Boy and his Apoyo Sound.
But his concern went further and he asked Roberto Roena to teach him to play, as Rafael Cortijo did with him and he did and here is the teaching.
When Roberto saw that he was ready, he would let him play some numbers and when Roberto went on a trip with the Fania All Star he would leave Tito in his position, for him a great pride.
I was briefly with Tommy Olivencia, and I returned to New York and continued my career here.
And in 1992 we made El Grupo Madera Fina with two productions. Carving Salsa and Where No One Came.
Tito Mangual, then I took my rumba and participated with several groups, until I decided to record the production Homenaje a Roberto Roena.
In the production Tito Mangual Presents the Best of Fine Wood and then I did another production presenting El Presente and El Pasado Musical by Carlos Santos ex singer of Roberto Roena.
And a compilation of Carlos Santos from Kako and his Orchestra to Madera Fina.
Now his new production, Back To The Greatest Hits produced by Tito Mangual and Munito Soto, with his greatest hits of his time, such as Planté Bandera El Paso De Encarnación and El Nazareno, among others.
